Vacation, Day Two

The kids discovered tetherball today and thought it was funny. It didn't matter that they are such different heights, because the tetherball pole was in wobbly, and the whole thing got tippy when they played. It was all about the laughs, anyway, which was nice.

Dave's Gram had this thistly plant growing next to the back door. It was over six feet tall, and seems to grow about 4 inches a night. It was the craziest weed we ever saw!

As evening rolled around, Dave got the projector set up so we could watch a movie on the side of the house as soon as the sun set. Made for a late night, but the kids won't fall asleep early (and by early, I mean their usual bedtime) when we're sleeping in a tent and other people are still awake.

Oops! Forgot something in the car, and Alex said "Swing me, Daddy!" What else could he do but swing her around?

I really love the sunset here.

Tether ball and swinging 'round...night time movie. Lots of playing and relaxing--great! Love, Mannah
