A Very Quick Beach Trip

We decided to try to watch the sunset at the beach today. We got there just about an hour before the sun went down.

It was really, really cold. The kids huddled with Dave and ate a piece of their gingerbread house.

I took a few pictures before my fingers didn't want to work anymore. This is a floating island in the distance that Dave noticed.

We didn't make it until the sunset. But making it to the warmth of the car was more important. We'll catch another sunset another day. When it's warmer.
