We went to the pumpkin farm today for a birthday party of one of Alex's friends.

There was a hay barn where the kids could jump into a huge pile of hay. They thought it was so much fun!

They wanted Dave to join them for a jump or two.

Then Alex wanted me to jump with her. It was a lot higher than it looked.

There was a bin filled with dried corn to play in.

Yes, we did find corn in their clothes when we got home!

They look so huge all of a sudden!

Nick liked the horse swings, too.

At the birthday party, Nick got the saddest cupcake. He had a two year old moment after he took the paper wrapper off, then wanted it back on, and was so sad that it wouldn't go back.

It was a big, big, big pumpkin, according to Nick. The biggest pumpkin I ever seen, according to Alex.

Nick saw sheep and goats. He petted them through the fence. The sheep, he said, felt like lambs. The goats, he said, felt like cows. I'm not sure how he knows that.

Pumpkin time! Alex found a whole bunch of possible pumpkins, and lined them all up.

Nick found a green pumpkin.

Alex found some that were too big to pick up, but just right to sit on.

Nick found a broken pumpkin, and poked at the guts for awhile. He was tickled that there were seeds in it.

A shot of me on the way home.

Dave told me he thought it was a bad idea getting me my new camera. Yep, a little bit of a bad idea. He said that because I was taking pictures from the window on the way home. And because I took over 150 pictures at the pumpkin farm. What are you going to do when the kids are being cute, though?
