The latest addition to the "Nicky Looking Down Drains" photo collection. I ran in a 10k race this morning, and since it was local, Dave brought the kids down to cheer me on. They got to the finish line before me, since they got to use the car, and Nick had to check out the drain a bit.
Here I am! So very tired!
Almost there. Just a little further. At this point, Alex called out "Mom! Use your afterburners!" But I already was!
I just realized I finished in less time that my first 10k! 1:14! Woo hoo! The training is slowly paying off! Now to go home and take a warm shower and a nap!
