Catch Up Post- Puppet Show and Saddest Sled Trip Ever

December 13

The kids put on a puppet show for Dave and me. Alex gave us each a ticket with a "1" drawn on it, had us sit on Nicky's bed, then collected the tickets, folded the edges and gave them back. The puppet show was about Rabbit Rabbit and Elfant dancing together. It was a good show, especially for being so spur of the moment!

December 14
A snowy morning. Such a lovely way to wake up.

We went to the school yard to go sledding.

Lots of laughing and fun were had.

Everyone got turns at going down the sledding hill as quickly as possible.

And here was the last successful trip by Nicky's new sled. See how much fun they were having?

Dave saw some kids going sledding through the trees and thought he'd try it out. So far, so good.

See how he's sideways? It's because he just it a tree root and cracked the sled and then fell into a pile of snow.

A sad little boy. "You bwoke my swed!"

Trying to fix the sled, which didn't hold for very long. (Not that the test run I took down the hill had anything to do with it, though. Nope.)

Pulling the kids back home on the good sled. With lots of giggles.

Ooops...that's one sad looking Nicholas! Did he get a new sled or were the repairs finally successful? Love, Mom
